With his band - the first label-backed physical release, the 7-song record ‘Daughters of Atlas’ debuted at #90 on the Canadian Billboard charts, #45 on the Billboard Rock chart, and remained in the top 200 record sales as reported by Nielson for 5 additional weeks.
Having the opportunity to have a physical CD release in stores such as HMV and Best Buy is something very few modern day musicians are able to experience. It wasn’t soon after this Billboard charting release that Hutton realized his songwriting abilities & began writing and producing for other artists, labels and publishers.
After touring for several years as a guitar player, guitar technician, merchandise salesperson, tour manager, and live sound technician, Hutton had built the real-life relationships to help make the jump to full time songwriting a reality.
Having a taste of submitting publishing demos to some of the largest music publishers in the world, Hutton found himself collaborating with many very talented musicians from all over the world.
For the last several years Hutton has catalogued over 1000 songs both instrumentally as well as lyrically, with vocal melodies.
While currently remaining a free agent, Hutton is actively searching for the next publishing deal to help place some of his best work yet to come.
